FOUNDER & COUNSELOR

Jonathan Jackson

Jonathan Jackson’s passion is counseling because he desires to see people be made whole by piecing together their lives in a healthy way. As a professional counselor, he has worked extensively with the mental health community and has observed how trauma can shape an individual’s life. He has been successful in working with groups and individuals to uncover and develop coping mechanisms that impact their lives. For over a decade now, Jonathan has been a child advocate making sure they have a voice, while tending to their emotional and social needs.

It has always been Jonathan’s desire to help individuals and families find a healthy resolution to trauma that lead him to found Heart Alliance. He applies the same principles at Heart Alliance that have made him successful as a group counselor and child advocate, which are: listening; partnering with the patient in goal setting and overcoming traumatic events that cause depression, anxiety and other mental disorders; and most importantly, meeting patients where they are.

Jonathan obtained his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Trauma from Rosemont College. He also completed certifications in trauma and Mental Health First Aid for children and adults.

Heart Alliance is here to help.
